No statement

92 don't say

Their pricing page, terms and privacy policy don't say whether your content trains AI, as far as our research found.

No statement isn’t a promise. If it matters for your work, ask the maker before you upload anything private. For 12 of them the maker says content may be used to improve the service, without mentioning AI training.

Where to go next

Methodology

  • Data: the Free AI For That catalog (data/tools.json, sha256 5a7fa676…, commit aff5224, 24 October 2026). A script (scripts/reports/build-report-stats.ts) counts every number with the functions the site uses to list a tool and to assign its kind of free.
  • Which tools: Live tools whose free plan we researched in depth (Free Facts), from the maker's pricing page and terms. That’s 239 tools. Every listed tool gives at least a month free: a free plan, free credits, or a trial of 30 days or more.
  • Counts come from the catalog, where each free offer was recorded from the maker’s own pages between 18 October 2026 and 23 October 2026.
  • Named tools: every tool this report names was re-checked on the maker’s page on 24 October 2026. Next to each one we show the maker’s words and a link to the page we read them on. 120 facts passed the re-check. 9 we couldn’t re-confirm (the page had changed, blocked us or didn’t say it clearly), so those tools aren’t named here. They still count in the totals, as the catalog records them.
  • Researched plans are mostly the top-ranked tools in each category, so this describes those plans, not every AI tool.
  • “May train” means the maker says it may use your content (prompts, files, recordings or outputs) to train, fine-tune or improve AI models, including when it’s on unless you opt out, and including de-identified data when the maker says so. “Don’t” means the maker says it doesn’t, or not without your consent.
  • Not re-confirmed: tools our research recorded as yes or no, but whose words we couldn’t find again on the live page (the page changed, blocked us, or didn’t say it clearly), plus any we hadn’t recorded. They count in neither yes nor no.
  • Cards: we don’t say whether a signup asks for a card. We only say that once we’ve completed the signup ourselves.
  • Percentages are rounded to one decimal place. Each one states its denominator.
  • Corrections: see something wrong? Tell us. We’ll re-check it and log any change on Free plan changes.
