Overview

PR-Agent is a community-maintained open-source tool that adds AI summaries, reviews and code suggestions to pull requests. You run it yourself with your own AI model key. It is not Qodo's free tier.

Key features

  • Commands such as /describe, /review, /improve and /ask on a pull request
  • Works with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps and Gitea
  • Runs as a GitHub Action, CLI, Docker image, webhook or self-hosted service
  • Works with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Mistral and models reachable through LiteLLM
  • Prompts and review behaviour can be customised through configuration files

Best for

People
Developers and teams who want AI reviews on their own pull requests, Teams that self-host to keep control of their data

Limitations

  • You need your own AI model key, such as an OpenAI key, and pay that provider for usage
  • This is the community project, not Qodo's own code review product or its free tier
  • The /help_docs command is temporarily disabled pending a fix for a credential-exposure issue
