Verification & re-checks
What “checked” means
We fetch each tool’s public pricing page (automated fetch plus editor review) and confirm the free plan, trial, or credits still match the listing. Each tool page shows Free offer checked with the date of that tool’s last check, and links the source page. We don’t create an account, so “checked” is about the vendor’s public pricing page, not a signup.
Credit cards
“No card needed” appears only after we’ve completed the vendor’s signup ourselves without entering a card. We don’t repeat vendors’ own “no credit card” claims, and when we haven’t checked, we say nothing either way.
What we list
Only tools whose free offer is a free plan, a trial of at least 30 days, or credits usable for at least 30 days are listed. Short trials, discontinued free tiers, and offers we couldn’t confirm are not listed.
How often we re-check
We re-check the catalog regularly. Tools that drop their free offer are flagged or removed on the next pass. Older checks reduce freshness in organic rank until we confirm again. Vendors change offers often, so always confirm on the vendor’s site.
