Free AI For That

What money can and can't buy

Makers pay to list their tool and for labelled sponsored placements. Payment never buys approval, rank, badges, our picks or the facts we show.

What's paid

  • Listings from makers: $9 (Featured) or $29 (Spotlight). Our team also adds tools for free, at its own discretion.
  • Sponsored placements: cards above the organic list on the home page, category pages, matching searches and matching task pages, and the news line at the top of each page. Every one is labelled "Sponsored" and names who paid.

Full rules, prices and refunds are in the Sponsor policy.

What payment can't buy

Approval or a faster decision, organic rank, badges, our picks, the free facts and verdicts we show, ratings and reviews, editorial text, the AI chat's answers, or our structured data, sitemap and exports. Paid and editorial listings are ranked by the same organic formula, and clicks on sponsored items never count toward it.

Our "Try" links add ?ref=freeaiforthat so the vendor can see the visit came from us. It doesn't pay us. Sponsored links also carry campaign tags so sponsors can see the visits in their own analytics. We earn no affiliate commissions.
